Abstract
I will discuss the instabilities of spherically symmetric static regular black holes found in the context of nonlinear electrodynamics. These solutions were proposed to resolve classically the singularity present in GR and standard electromagnetism. I will show that all the solutions for these theories suffer from local instabilities with modes with large angular momentum and a short time scale of instability.
